On a Trip to Hiroshima, I became fascinated with the Japanese Martial art of Kendo. The Elegance and poise it takes to master the sport is oddly balanced by the sport’s brutality. I blended this with the utilitarian cuts of classic U.S. military wear.

A meditation on the color blue. Inspired by the WWII-era term “boys in blue” as well as the blue orchid. The collection is accented by a dull brownish-orange, most similar to rust.
